Eclipse designed the CD1200 CD receiver to be a serious performer in a no-frills package. Its audio section includes a 3-band equalizer that lets you fine-tune your sound, plus a loudness control for getting punchy tone at low volumes. And it looks great, too — you can choose from either red or green illumination to match your vehicle's interior.
Plays all your music
You can play store-bought CDs, including discs you've filled with MP3, WMA and AAC files, or you can plug a thumb drive full of music into the handy front-panel USB input. A set of rear RCA auxiliary input lets you add another source, like a Dock & Play satellite radio or an MP3 player.
Playing your iPod® and more
Connect your iPod using the included cable and you can surf through your playlists and albums using the receiver's controls, plus keep your iPod charged while you drive. And two sets of 3-volt preamp outputs send a clean signal to your amps and subs, if you plan to build a complete car audio system.
Note: If you're going to use your iPod with this receiver, be sure to check "Hands-on Research" for specific iPod model compatibility with this receiver.
